Reporting and tracking

Reporting and tracking

After a message is sent, the sender can view the ‘acknowledgment bar’ at the bottom of the Console to see a real-time status of the notification message being acknowledged by staff.

NetSupport Notify also provides history details of all previously sent notifications. A list of all notifications is displayed along with details of the staff who received the notification, the title and first line of the notification, the user name of the sender, the date and time the notification was sent and the number of recipients who have acknowledged the notification. Double clicking a notification message brings up the full details of the notification, including the whole message, all the options set at the Console and acknowledgement information. The history items are colour coded according to their severity.

A search facility is also provided allowing users to easily and quickly search for specific notifications. Using the ‘Export’ function, the selected notification and its details can also be exported into a .csv file.

Supporting emergency and lockdown procedures

Supporting emergency and lockdown procedures

NetSupport Notify can be a vital communication tool during a school’s emergency and lockdown procedure and some integrate it as an official part of their emergency plans, due to its ability to send a clear and concise message or instruction (maximum 500 characters) to all connected computers – across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux desktops and large information panels in halls and foyers), specific users/devices or selected departments.

The delivered message automatically takes screen focus on recipient computers and can be accompanied by an audible alert to ensure attention is gained.

If there isn’t time to type a lengthy message, the sender can create and use a ready-made “emergency response” alert, and send it from the office or on the move with our dedicated mobile apps.
